What is a credit card deposit?

This is the amount allocated by the customer to cover any expenses arising from the rental. This amount is a pre-authorization on the credit card that will be requested from the card issuer at the beginning of your rental and will be canceled at the end of the contract. The deadline for releasing the limit will depend on the credit card issuing bank.

When does the rental company make the pre-authorization?

Pre-authorization is always done when the vehicle is picked up.

Do the vehicles have 24-hour assistance?

Yes, all DESLOCAR vehicles have 24-hour assistance. If the car you rented has broken down or suffered a mechanical or electrical failure, the first step is to report the incident to the company, identifying the location with an address so that we can provide you with all possible assistance.

What do I need to rent a vehicle?

To rent a vehicle, you must be over 21 years of age, have held a valid DRIVING LICENSE for more than 2 years, and present a credit card in the name of the renter for pre-authorization.

Are the vehicles insured against third parties?

Yes, our vehicles have third-party insurance, which must be purchased at the time of rental.
